Our Report: ‘Averting a Climate Crisis’

In March 2014 the Oxford Socially Responsible Investment Review Committee (SRIRC) announced a university wide consultation on fossil fuel divestment and invited all concerned parties across the University to send in their submissions by 23 June, 2014. For our student submission, we have produced a report detailing our recommendations on divestment, our reasoning behind these and all the supporting evidence we have gathered over the past year.

Through our recommendations, we outline a carbon-sensitive investment approach for Oxford University, which we believe constitutes meaningful investor action on climate change.
